Regulations and Requirements (TDOK)
The training program meets the strict competency requirements for road workers who are responsible for stopping, directing, or guiding traffic. According to the Swedish Transport Administration’s regulations, the course covers:
- Traffic Control: Proficiency in the use of road signs, traffic signals, and traffic guards, supplemented by barriers and traffic guides (single/double).
- Safety Requirements: An in-depth look at the rules for high-visibility clothing, proper marking, and the design of staging areas.
- Operational Response: Ability to follow operational plans, manage wait times, and prioritize emergency vehicles.
- Incident Management: Procedures for responding to unauthorized entry or other high-risk incidents in the workplace.
Note: In each active work crew, at least one person (certified in accordance with Step 2.2, Designation Officer) must ensure that the work is performed in accordance with applicable requirements.
