Target group
This course replaces previously called work on the road level 1. Everyone who performs work on the road that is procured by the Swedish Transport Administration must have a general basic competence consisting of Step 1.1.
Examples of jobs where the general basic skills are sufficient are jobs that are less affected by passing vehicle traffic, for example:
- Tunnelling works and associated works before the start of traffic.
- Bridge construction and related work before the start of traffic.
- Installation and maintenance of plant components, etc.
NOTE! If you are going to work next to a passing road, you must, in addition to 1.1, also obtain competence for Working on roads 1.3
This course is based on TDOK 2018:0371, TDOK 2018:0372 and includes elements such as
- Laws and rules
- Personal protective equipment.
- Definitions of the different zonal divisions in a workplace.
- Road user behavior.
- Speed and crash violence.
- information on AML and its regulations, including risk analysis the role of the Swedish Transport Administration, the traffic engineer and the project manager in the project
- Role of the employer and protection organization in the site
The web training presents, among other things, laws and regulations for people who perform road works and how rules should be applied to different works. You will also gain an understanding of the risks involved in roadworks and how they can be prevented to make you a safe worker.
