Regulations and Technical Information (TDOK)
Working on or near roads requires the appropriate level of expertise. This training provides you with the theoretical foundation needed to work safely. In accordance with the Swedish Transport Administration’s regulations, the course covers:

It is a basic course so the level should be low but not bad for that, there is a lot of room for improvement. - The training did not mention anything about e.g. what a TMA vehicle looks like, what road signs can be used (chicanes, sergeant, sign trolley...) or overview of a road works site. I am still as green at a road works site as I was before the training - What is the difference between class 2 and class 3 high visibility clothing? Bring a quick example and show pictures of the different types of warning. - A couple of questions were left to chance, e.g. whether there is a fine for both employer and employee is not mentioned at all but the question is included. - Make sure that it is possible to adjust the playback speed in your movie clips. - If there is not enough time in the training, make sure to include links to other external providers or presentations where it is possible to learn more about the basics of working on the road.

I recently completed a short training on "Work on the Road" (APV 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3) with the APVU trainers and I can highly recommend them. The training was very easy to follow and the videos were just the right length for each section, which made it easy for me to understand the material. I would also like to commend APVU trainers for their price guarantee, which made me choose to do the training with them instead of with another provider as I had initially thought. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would definitely consider using the APVU trainers again in the future.
