An example of a driver of a road maintenance vehicle is one who:
- drives a road maintenance vehicle on a road work site, such as a passenger car, light truck, truck, tractor, wheel loader, excavator, road roller, asphalt paver
- Plowing, salting and sanding.
- Transports, earth masses, gravel and paving mass.
- Operates service vehicles and carries out design work.
- Carry out intermittent work on low and standard class roads.
- Traffic control, power tools and tractors used in e.g. excavation or paving works
- Towing of vehicles
